The new ultra-wide-angle rectilinear Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f/5.6 FF RL lens for Leica M-mount is now shipping from the official company store. The lens is currently in stock at venuslens.net with worldwide shipping and a free 100mm magnetic filter holder for the first 100 orders. The lens is available for pre-order in the US at Adorama and B&H. Here is a quick lens report I received from a reader:

"Got mine today directly from Laowa after ordering it 4 days ago. Even got the filter holder for free. I am just delighted with the quality of the making (real metal, soft focusing), packaging, etc. The pictures are great and really distortion-free. Color rendition is Leica compatible. Much better than the 17mm 4,5 by MS Optical for only 100$ more. Can only recommend it if you need REALLY wide angle."
